The Morton Museum of Cooke County
The Morton Museum provides a respite for those interested in Cooke County history. We not only provided historical exhibits, but one can also research family and community history. Our gift shop is stocked with wonderful books (many by local authors), jewelry, cards, children’s items and much more. We invite you to come in take a look, and be charmed by our quaint 150 plus year old building which once housed a fire station, city hall and a calaboose.
